Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.

1. Minimum of 3 years of Insurance experience
2. Prior management experience
3. High School Diploma
4. Understanding of Insurance work methods and procedures.
5. Ability to verbally present information to clients, company and agency staff.
6. Ability to be self-motivated, provide problem solving capabilities and prioritize multiple tasks.
7. Commitment to the company’s culture and established service standards.
8. Ability to deal with and show discretion in confidential matters.
9. 50% availability to work in different branch locations.
10. 25% availability to travel outside of 25-mile radius.
11. Ability to sit, drive, bend, answer phones and perform computer input.
1. Manage a book of personal insurance clients
2. Provide personal lines account management support in secondary capacity. This includes:
a. Addressing insured’s questions and concerns regarding policies, coverages and premium payments promptly via phone, email and in person.
b. Communicate with company personnel regarding coverage, policy changes and billing questions via phone and written communication.
c. Document all communications and interactions with clients, carriers and others in computer system.
d. Initiate appropriate policy and endorsement issuance via in-house agency system and carrier websites.
e. Update and maintain accurate client data such as address, phone #’s, email address, etc.
f. Generate referrals to the agency.
3. Work with staff, supervisors and management to institute and implement departmental policies and procedures. This includes:
a. Onboarding training of new employees.
b. Ensuring continued flow of the department during vacations.
4. Maintain Compliance with all related company policies, confidentiality, standardized procedures and regulations.
5. Keep office supplies and equipment stocked as needed
6. Continuing education to keep abreast of company, agency and computer updates. Training and utilization of all rating programs.
7. Any duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Perform same work-related responsibilities at other company locations as required.
2. Handle premium payments via in-house to post online or mail accordingly.
3. Reconciling cash drawers.
