Job Overview

The Amanda Montez Agency is actively developing the next generation of insurance professionals through the Farmers Insurance Protege Program. We’re looking for individuals who are hungry to learn, open to coaching, and serious about building a long-term career path, not just short-term income.

This is a development-focused opportunity where you’ll be exposed to every core part of the business, including:

• Building relationships and working with clients

• Learning sales strategy and prospecting techniques

• Supporting marketing and outreach efforts

• Understanding day-to-day agency operations

From day one, you’ll be working alongside an experienced mentor who will help guide your growth, sharpen your skills, and prepare you for future advancement within the industry.

This is a performance-based sales role within a Farmers Insurance agency. Growth opportunities are tied to performance, development, and business needs.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Life & Health (L&H) licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous sales or insurance industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset
  • Coachable and eager to learn through training and mentorship
Responsibilities
  • Obtain required insurance licensing and complete onboarding training
  • Participate in ongoing training and 1:1 coaching through District 20 and the University of Farmers
  • Prospect and generate new business through leads, referrals, and outbound outreach
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships using a consultative sales approach
  • Present and recommend insurance solutions based on clients’ needs and risk profiles
  • Meet or exceed new business and production goals while maintaining accurate client records in agency systems
