Our Insurance Producer role provides on-the-job training, mentorship, and a unique entrepreneurial pathway toward opening your own insurance agency. As part of our program, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive as an independent business owner.

Salary Range: $350,000.00 per year

Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong desire to own and operate a business. This is more than just a job—it’s a career path to agency ownership.

Sales Experience (Preferred, but Not Required): Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the insurance industry is a plus, but not necessary. We provide all the training you need.

Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and stay driven to meet sales targets and agency milestones.

Strong Communication Skills: You should be able to confidently build rapport with clients, prospects, and team members.

Desire to Learn & Grow: Willingness to learn the insurance business from the ground up, with a focus on developing your own agency.

MI State Insurance License (or Willing to Obtain): Applicants must have or be willing to obtain their Michigan Property & Casualty License and Life Insurance License.

Positive Attitude & Team Player: While this is an entrepreneurial role, you will be part of a supportive team that encourages growth and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Relationships:

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities for auto, home, life, and commercial insurance.
• Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through exceptional customer service, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the agency.

Apprenticeship Training:

• Receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced agents to learn the ins and outs of managing an insurance portfolio, closing sales, and leading a team.
• Work closely with Mitch Joseph and the district team to develop the skills needed to transition from producer to agency owner.

Marketing and Networking:

• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive new business and strengthen your community presence.
• Use company resources to promote your new agency, including funding for company signage, etc.

Entrepreneurial Growth:

• Follow a structured plan that prepares you to become an independent insurance agent, including the opportunity to eventually open your own office with full support from the district team.
• Participate in the Protege Program, where you’ll receive a graduation bonus upon successfully meeting key milestones and achieving agency ownership.

Continual Support and Mentorship:

• Access ongoing support from the district team, who will provide guidance, resources, and coaching to help you succeed as you grow your agency.
• Leverage an established support system, including training in sales, marketing, operations, and management.
