Agency Sales Apprentice

The Looman Agency, part of Farmers Insurance, is seeking a motivated Agency Sales Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you’ll receive hands-on training in insurance sales, client service, and business operations — all while building a path to long-term success in the industry. Licensing coursework is free and the agency will provide high quality paid for leads.
- Assist with developing and nurturing customer relationships through personalized outreach
- Learn to evaluate customer needs and provide insurance solutions across auto, home, life, and commercial lines
- Support marketing campaigns and community engagement events
- Shadow experienced agents and participate in real-time sales conversations
- Gain familiarity with quoting systems, CRM tools, and compliance procedures
- Contribute to team goals and performance targets
- Attend weekly coaching sessions focused on professional development and leadership
Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
•Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
•Ability to achieve high sales targets
•Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
•Must be coachable
•Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
•Must be willing to get licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health
•Must be motivated and determined
Responsibilities
•Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
•Communicating with our hot leads
•Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
•Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
