Customer Service Representative /Account Manager (Bilingual / Spanish)


Job Overview

The Account Manager / Retention and Customer Service Specialist (Bilingual / Spanish) will be responsible for customer service and retention management and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and exceeds customer’s satisfaction. They are responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, retention enhancement, and working closely with office staff on various tasks delegation.

We are looking for an ENERGETIC and SELF-MOTIVATED professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and customer service support related tasks and being able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Salary Range: $41,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Must be Licensed in Property, Casualty and Life Products upon hiring.
  • Prior Insurance and/or Sales Experience preferable.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive/resourceful and easily coachable.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Has strong customer service background.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Previous work experience in customer service, promotions or telemarketing is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of marketing principles and sales strategies.
  • Be equipped with great listening skills.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Assist customers with questions about their policies and billing accounts.
  • Outstanding relationship building.
  • Claims follow up calls.
  • Inform customers of promotions and new or upgraded products using prepared scripts.
  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs.
  • Retain customers and maintain accounts in good standing by utilizing phone, email and existing potential client lists.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, warm-calling, and lead databases.
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
