Job Summary:

The Customer Service and Sales Representative plays a key role in servicing existing clients, generating new business, and providing reliable support to ensure client satisfaction and policy retention. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
Responsibilities
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Document each customer contact in eAgent.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Handle customer renewals.
