The Opportunity

This is not a traditional bookkeeping role.

We are looking for a high-performing accounting professional who wants to step into a Controller-track position—owning the day-to-day accounting function while helping build the financial infrastructure of a rapidly growing, multi-location healthcare business.

You will operate as a “controller-lite”, partnering directly with the executive team, driving financial visibility, and helping scale systems, processes, and reporting. This is a high-impact role with plenty of career growth potential.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year

Hands on Training

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Strong command of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
• Proven experience managing multi-location or multi-entity financials
• Advanced experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to own and improve month-end close processes
• Experience with payroll, tax coordination, and financial reporting
• Track record of process improvement and systems thinking
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required for the right candidate

• Full ownership of multi-entity, multi-location accounting operations (14 clinics and growing)
• Management and integrity of the general ledger
• Preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and month-end close processes
• Delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, including:
• Profit & Loss statements by location
• Consolidated financials
• Balance sheets and cash flow reporting
• Oversight of AR/AP functions and cash management
• Coordination and execution of payroll processing
• Development and enforcement of accounting controls and processes
• Support for tax compliance and external CPA coordination
• Participation in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Identification of operational inefficiencies and implementation of scalable solutions
• Direct collaboration with C-suite leadership to support decision-making and growth strategy
