McLaurin Insurance Services is a growing insurance agency serving all of Texas. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) entry-level Insurance Assistant to support our front desk, customer service, and personal lines auto quoting. This is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in insurance. Hiring immediately!

This role is the front line of our agency — answering phones, assisting customers, handling basic policy service requests, and supporting auto-only quoting and lead follow-up. You’ll work closely with licensed agents and gain hands-on experience with real insurance workflows.

Spanish fluency is required. You must be comfortable speaking with Spanish-speaking clients daily.

Salary Range: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Prior insurance agency or call center experience
• Texas P&C license (or interest in obtaining one)
• Experience with auto insurance or customer service

• Front Desk & Office Support
• Answer inbound calls using agency scripts
• Greet walk-in customers professionally
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail
• Monitor office supplies (break area, printers, marketing materials)
• Personal Lines Customer Service (Auto-Focused)
• Handle basic auto insurance questions
• Provide ID cards and declarations pages
• Process mortgagee/lienholder changes
• Assist with non-renewal and late payment notifications
• Claims intake notifications and follow-ups
• Sales & Quoting Support
• Make outbound calls from assigned X-date and auto dialer lists
• Offer ancillary products (home warranties, device protection, pet insurance)
• Qualify home and bundle opportunities and route to licensed agents
• Work web leads
• Support flood and auto new business processing
• Customer Outreach
• Welcome calls for new clients
• Birthday and policy anniversary outreach
