This position offers a guaranteed minimum monthly base salary of $2,500, along with a highly competitive commission and bonus structure designed to reward performance and results.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative Role:

  • Active Property & Casualty License required, or the ability and willingness to obtain licensing within 30 days of employment
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed in a performance-based environment
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish strong relationships with clients
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, following up on leads, and asking for the sale
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
  • Coachable and open to feedback, training, and continuous professional development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency management systems and CRM platforms
Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • Generate insurance quotes, explain coverage options, deliver professional sales presentations, and confidently close sales opportunities
  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients to review policies, answer questions, and identify additional coverage needs
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, outbound outreach, and relationship-building strategies
  • Cross-sell and recommend additional products that align with clients’ needs and financial goals
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and company procedures to better serve customers
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals, performance metrics, and customer service expectations
