Job Overview

Farmers Insurance District Office is looking for a limited number of candidates interested in working in a sales capacity marketing and selling multi-line insurance products. Farmers Insurance product offerings include auto, home, business, umbrella and supplemental products.

This program (Associate Agent) is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry. The Associate Program serves as the starting point and allows candidates to build the knowledge and sales skills required to build a successful career in the insurance industry.

Farmers Associate Agents, will be working in both the Santa Rosa Farmers Insurance District location as well as spending time at a local established "sponsoring" Farmers Insurance Agency. We provide the systems, products, training, leads, lead generation program and a comprehensive "roadmap" for success. Associate Agents have the opportunity to work on a full or part time basis.

Associate Agents will work with new business sales prospects, existing Farmers Insurance customers and market through various successful sales programs.

Many successful Farmers Associate Agents have taken the skills learned on the Associate Program and moved on to Farmers Agents while others have remained in the "sponsoring" Agent's office and continue with successful sales and customer service careers.

Salary Range: $25,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

They create and present tailored insurance quotes and conduct sales presentations to effectively close sales.


Developing a Base:

They develop a base for long-term sources of clients using proven marketing systems and referrals.


Staying Current:

Agents need to stay informed about new insurance products, industry trends, and regulations to effectively meet client needs.
