Job Overview

This role involves identifying leads through prospecting and networking, conducting thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs, and presenting tailored insurance solutions, including auto, home, life, and commercial policies. Success in this position requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service, all of which contribute to building lasting client relationships. Ideal candidates are self-driven, goal-oriented, and preferably hold an insurance license. Previous experience in sales or customer service is beneficial. The role offers a competitive commission-based compensation package with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Must be willing to obtain an insurance license by passing the state exam or already hold a valid insurance license in Illinois.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and Network: Identify and cultivate potential clients through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Sales Execution: Present insurance products effectively, handle objections, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with policy renewals and claims.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Accurately complete all required documentation, maintain records, and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the agency team to share leads, strategies, and best practices for achieving sales goals.
