Job Overview
To achieve the company’s strategic objectives while focusing on economic objectives of running a profitable and compliant agency that provides an excellent workplace and world class service to the customers and prospects that exceeds all expectations. To design and implement sales and retention processes that attract and maintain new or existing customers to our agency through a combination of coaching the staff and personal performance leading by example. This is a high-level position with great opportunity for growth and advancement. It encompasses just about every aspect of the Agency’s operations and requires that the selected individual be always-on and fully engaged in the vision and mission of the Agency. With great reward there are also high expectations to deliver.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per month

Requirements
- Must have and maintain Property and Casualty (P&C) AND Life and Health (L&H) licenses. All license expenses including renewal fees and continuing education are incurred by the team member.
- Preferred bilingual (Spanish) but not required.
Responsibilities
- Direct and lead in the following areas: Process creation / improvement / implementation, technology integration, personnel development, performance and compensation reviews, budgeting, P&L, revenue forecasts, agency and carrier regulatory compliance, employee relations, training, Human Resources, marketing, and more…
- Ensure that the Agency exceeds new business and retention goals for both P&C lines and Life policies sold and production credit.
- Manage 100% of the day-to-day operations of the Agency with support from the Agency Owner.
- Personal organization (calendar, reminders, tracking systems, etc.) and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time are crucial.
- Maintain a high level of personal energy and enthusiasm to support a positive Agency culture and work environment for team members.
- Clearly communicate and “live” the vision and objectives of the Agency so team members follow and buy-in to what we are working toward and accomplishing together.
- Become a master at all product line coverages, options, and features. Know the Risk Management Policies (RMPs). Ability to clearly communicate all to Agency team members and new hires. Ensuring compliance at all times is crucial to writing a lot of (clean and profitable) new business.
- Recruit and train sales and service Agents to join the Agency family.
- Create and maintain individual coaching plans for all Agency team members for consistent education and development.
- Role-play coaching techniques pre and post sales and service opportunities. Live coaching and training opportunities are constant and are one of the most important roles in this position.
- Utilize Agency technology such as recorded calls in the VoIP phone system, tracking in the lead management system, notes and activities in the Agency CRM, and more to identify areas of development but also to acknowledge and praise team members who excel in the sales or service situation.
- Create and implement tracking systems for sales and service reporting. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual goals, forecasting, and needs analysis “numbers” are vital to Agency performance and success. You cannot track what you cannot measure. We measure everything and always know where we stand and what we need to improve on.
- Manage Agency digital communications from the Agency email to the corporate Facebook page, individual email, calls, text messages, etc. Our clients communicate with us in many ways and we need to be very responsive.
- Delegate and assign tasks to Agency team members and ensure that they are completed to the Agency’s operational standards. All communications are stored in eAgent. Sun-Down Rule: ALL inquiries are handled or responded to with a time for completion by the end of the day.
- Network with current Centers of Influence (a.k.a. referral partners) to deepen and strengthen relationships. Work to create new COI relationships and partner them with Agency team members.
- Payroll administration bi-weekly and chargeback/commission calculations monthly.
- Manage team member hours, scheduling, sick leave, vacation time, etc. Ensure that the Agency is always properly staffed and that no one is abusing any time out policies and more.
- To reiterate, this is a very high-level position encompassing broad responsibilities. The Agency Owner will guide you through your development and ensure that you have every tool and resource available to be very successful.
