Job Description

We are seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, our clients will look to you as an advisor to assist them in finding the right insurance solutions. You will utilize your excellent relationship-building talents and create confidence with our clients. We believe in investing in our employees' growth and development. No prior insurance sales experience? Preferred, but if not, no problem! We’ll guide you.

We will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role. To ensure your success, you must have 1+ years of experience in sales or the insurance industry. Rest assured, we are here to provide all the assistance you require throughout your journey toward success. Entry level: (newly licensed or inexperienced) $38,000 base pay. The minimum commission would be approx. $15,000 per year. May make $43,000 with base pay + commission + bonuses + experience + performance.

If you have experience in insurance sales and are motivated to meet sales targets, we are interested in hearing from you! As an Insurance Sales Representative, your duties include reaching sales goals, cultivating customer relationships, and providing remarkable service quality. A Property and Casualty License, insurance experience, and the ability to shake off rejection are required. Base pay for a licensed, experienced individual for this position is $50,000 per year. With commission ($50,000 per year), may make up to $100,000 with base salary + commission + bonuses + experience + performance.

Salary Range: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency REQUIRED. 
  • Ohio Property and Casualty License PREFERRED (REQUIRED within 60 days). 
  • 1+ years of insurance sales experience.
  • OR 1+ years of demonstrated success in sales if you do not have insurance sales experience. (phone sales, real estate, banking, inside or outside sales, car sales)
  • 1+ years of experience working in an office environment, using a multiline phone system, and utilizing computer software. Proficient typing/data entry skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
  • Ambitious self-starter with the ability to work independently to hit targets and collaborate with team members.
Responsibilities
  • Use excellent rapport skills to establish trust and provide honest and empathetic interactions.
  • Generate business from warm leads, networking, and other lead sources for both commercial and personal insurance.
  • Follow-up on customers to maintain client retention and promote product loyalty
  • Advise and Educate prospects on insurance policies based on their personal needs and goals. 
  • Create effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and meet sales targets. 
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and follow established protocols.
