The Insurance Sales Representative role, or Protege, is designed for aspiring business owners who want to grow their skills, develop industry knowledge, and build a path toward owning their own Farmers Insurance Agency. While working alongside an experienced agency owner, you'll gain hands-on experience and mentorship, all while having access to the award-winning University of Farmers training program.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Qualifications:

• Pass a background check in accordance with Farmers guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Prior sales experience (preferred)
• Must have or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty License and Life & Health License at the agents expense
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable

• Collaborate closely with your mentor Agent to develop confidence and skills needed to become a self-sufficient insurance agent.
• Assess the unique needs and goals of prospective clients to recommend the most appropriate insurance policy options.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell multiple Personal and Business products, treating each client interaction as a chance to foster new and ongoing business relationships.
