The Farmers Protégé Agency Producer Program is designed to provide individuals an opportunity to grow their skills and business knowledge to become a Farmers® agency owner while working for an existing Farmers agency owner. The Protégé Agency Producer will learn from an industry professional as well as have access to the award-winning University of Farmers® training program.  This program is designed to help enhance knowledge from marketing, sales, staffing, customers service and insurance as well as introduce tools that will help the Protégé Agency Producer grow as a business owner should the Protégé Agency Producer one day own their own Farmers agency. If a Protégé Agency Producer meets all applicable eligibility requirements, they will have the opportunity to become an agency owner, if such an opportunity is available.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business ownership
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Sales or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain or maintain appropriate insurance licensing (if not already licensed)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Educate clients on insurance products and recommend coverage that fits their needs
• Generate quotes and close sales across multiple lines of insurance (auto, home, life, commercial, etc.)
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Assist with policy servicing, renewals, and account management
• Participate in training, mentorship, and business development activities
• Learn agency operations including marketing, staffing, and financial management
• Meet and exceed sales and performance goals
