Student will gain experience through a Paid Summer Internship. Looking to add a motivated, self-starting college student (junior or rising senior) to the Agency Team. The intern will gain entrepreneurial insight and experience in sales and customer service. It is an opportunity to learn to work on a team and to flourish as a leader. The person will report to the licensed Marketing Manager and provide weekly reports to the Agency Owner.  May assist in social media content creation as well. Intern must have confidence, good writing skills and the willingness to learn.

Assist with sales development by answering and making phone calls to prospects and existing

clients, take payments, and set sales and policy review appointments.

Plan and attend tabling events with agency staff.

Input and track sales in software and spreadsheets each week.

Will interact with the owner, other staff, clients, and potential clients.

Will assist to develp proposals quotes by gathering client data, inputting data, and generating proposals.

Type and arrange documents for filing, policy binding, and sales appointments.

Position runs early May - early August.
