This is an entry-level administrative position that provides essential support to both our personal and commercial lines departments. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks and customer service responsibilities to help ensure smooth daily operations.

Salary Range: $21.00 per hour

  • Must be fluent in English
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Adaptable, flexible, and takes initiative
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Professional attitude and appearance

Responsibilities
  • Professionally answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks including typing memos, filing, preparing spreadsheets, and conducting prospect research
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for staff and coordinate with clients as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the President, Vice President, and Office Manager on various projects
  • Complete new Homeowner and Auto insurance quote request forms
  • Gather initial client information, prepare request forms, and forward them to the appropriate Customer Service Representative (CSR) for processing
  • Return all business-related phone calls within four hours
  • Check and respond to all emails daily
  • Provide assistance to Personal Lines and Commercial CSRs as needed
  • Mail and email insurance policies to clients
  • Support the marketing department with outreach and administrative tasks
