Ken Castellani-GEICO in Gainesville, Florida, is looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to help us sell our amazing insurance products and services as a Full Time Insurance Sales and Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with our agency. Every day you'll be using your strong communication and customer service skills, problem-solving, rapport-building, and time-management talents to ensure you are providing the best experience for your clients.

No Previous Insurance Experience? No problem!

Are you currently selling another product outside of the insurance industry, a student or graduate struggling to decide on a future career, or somebody with no experience who is interested in beginning a career in insurance? This is the perfect fit for you. Entry-level applicants will earn at least an additional $3-4+ per hour in bonus after the first month.

No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn

Ability to adapt to change, learn new things quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.

Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.

Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.

Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.

Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.

Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.

Maintain knowledge of new products and services.

Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.

Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs.

Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personalgoals.

Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.

Work independently and as part of a team.

Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone.
