We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on leader to step into a Protégé Manager role focused on developing and driving the success of our sales team here at the Karen Lyle's Agency with Farmers Insurance.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a coaching + performance-driven environment — you won’t just manage people, you’ll actively train, mentor, and hold Protégés and Sales Producers accountable to hitting their goals.

Your success is directly tied to the success of your team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales experience (insurance or similar preferred)
  • Leadership or coaching experience strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to motivate, develop, and hold others accountable
  • Organized and comfortable tracking metrics and performance
  • High energy, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset

What You’ll Do

Coach and develop Protégés and Sales Producers on daily sales activity and performance

Help team members build structured daily schedules that drive consistency and results

Guide agents in lead generation strategies (calls, referrals, networking, marketing)

Track performance metrics and hold team members accountable to goals

Provide real-time feedback, support, and motivation to improve closing and production

Assist with onboarding and training new hires

Lead by example with strong sales habits and a results-driven mindset

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Prior leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
  • Highly organized with the ability to track performance and manage multiple team members
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
  • Property & Casualty license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Life & Health license is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop Protégés and Sales Producers to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Create and implement daily activity schedules that drive consistent production
  • Guide team members in lead generation strategies (calls, referrals, networking, marketing)
  • Track key performance metrics (calls, quotes, closes) and adjust strategy as needed
  • Hold team accountable to activity standards and production benchmarks
  • Provide ongoing 1:1 coaching, feedback, and roleplay training to improve sales skills
  • Assist with onboarding and ramp-up of new hires
  • Help troubleshoot deals and support team members in closing business
  • Maintain a positive, competitive, and growth-focused team environment
