Kansas Assn. of Insurance Agents

Agency Operations & Member Engagement Manager

Job Overview

Help strengthen member relationships, improve operations, and support independent insurance agents across Kansas.

Who We Are

At the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents — KAIA — we support, advocate for, and serve independent insurance agencies across Kansas. We’re a small, supportive team with a positive culture, strong work/life balance, and a shared commitment to helping our members succeed.

Our workplace has the feel of a family-owned small business, with plenty of variety, flexibility, and opportunities to make a real impact. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and working with people who support one another, KAIA may be a great fit.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Agency Operations & Member Engagement Manager to support the continued growth of Agency Services Corporation of Kansas — ASCK — and help strengthen KAIA’s connection with members throughout the year.

ASCK helps generate revenue that supports KAIA’s products, services, and member-focused programs. In this role, you’ll improve internal workflows, support operational consistency, create meaningful member touchpoints, and help ensure KAIA members receive responsive, reliable service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, dependable, and operationally minded — someone who enjoys improving the big picture but is also willing to jump in and help with hands-on service work when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve internal workflows and operational consistency
  • Strengthen member engagement through regular, thoughtful touchpoints
  • Support ASCK’s continued growth and its role in supporting KAIA programs
  • Serve as a helpful, responsive point of contact for KAIA members
  • Assist with agency operations, service needs, and program administration
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and member experience
  • Collaborate with the KAIA team to provide timely, accurate, and professional support
  • Participate in KAIA events and member-facing activities

What You Bring

A current Kansas Property & Casualty insurance license is required. Because this role supports member agencies and may assist with service-related work, applicants must already hold an active Kansas P&C license to be considered.

We’re also looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • A curious, fact-finding approach to solving problems
  • Operational mindset with the ability to improve processes
  • Comfort interacting with members, agencies, carrier partners, and team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Bonus Points For:

  • Commercial lines service experience
  • Experience working in or with an independent insurance agency
  • AMS360 experience
  • Prior leadership or team coordination experience
  • Insurance designations or interest in pursuing them
