Experienced Insurance Agent - Agency Ownership Opportunity

Were currently seeking a motivated and experienced insurance professional to join our remote team and participate in our hands-on mentorship program, working directly alongside a successful agency owner.

This position presents a remarkable chance to shine in the sales domain while acquiring practical experience in managing agency operations, aiming for a future where you can run an agency of your own.

As a Trainee Agent, your main task will be to boost sales and revenue by effectively marketing our range of insurance products and services to potential customers. Beyond your core sales duties, you'll have the opportunity to closely collaborate with the agency team to grasp the essentials of operating a prosperous insurance agency.

This role is tailored to equip you with the necessary expertise and knowledge to smoothly transition into running an agency.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Fully licensed in Property & Casualty.
  • Resides in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Active insurance license in Michigan.
  • Strong desire to pursue agency ownership and a willingness to commit to a mentorship program.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • To boost lead generation,
  • Employ a diverse mix of strategies including networking, soliciting referrals, and engaging in community outreach.
  • Hold thorough consultations with clients to assess their insurance needs and offer tailored solutions. Inform clients about the different insurance products and coverage choices available.
  • Shadow and learn from an experienced agency owner to gain firsthand experience in all aspects of agency management, including sales, customer service, marketing, and team leadership.
  • Assist with client consultations, policy reviews, and insurance assessments to understand client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads, acquire new clients, and retain existing business.
  • Collaborate with the mentor and agency team to execute marketing initiatives, community outreach efforts, and networking opportunities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge of the insurance industry.
