Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide excellent service to clients by assisting with policy management, answering inquiries, and supporting claims processing. Whether you're helping with auto policies, cross-selling life insurance, or ensuring a smooth claims process, you'll play a key role in maintaining client satisfaction. We offer two work schedules to fit your availability: 8 AM – 5 PM or 10 AM – 7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Mon-Fri Schedule

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an insurance setting, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly phone demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of auto, home, or life insurance is preferred but not required (we will provide training).
• Ability to work with agency systems to input and track customer information.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual, with the ability to work either schedule (8 AM – 5 PM or 10 AM – 7 PM).
• Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial.

• Provide customer service and rate quotes for auto policies, including motorcycles, boats, RVs, and antique cars.
• Cross-sell life insurance and other products during every client interaction.
• Consistently ask for referrals and thank clients for their business.
• Manage policy administration tasks such as setting up and maintaining files for new business accounts.
• Monitor policy cancellations, send out notices, and contact clients before cancellation deadlines.
• Assist in preparing for annual review appointments by collecting updated client and policy information.
• Update client and policy details in the agency’s database systems.
• Coordinate welcome and thank-you letters for new clients.
• Provide claims support, including entering claims, answering questions regarding applicable laws, and offering referrals for preferred service providers.
• Follow up on claims through to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and quick problem resolution.
• Communicate unresolved claims issues to the agent or owner.
• Receive and process payments, and make corrections for any payment discrepancies.
• Assist with phone coverage and other office tasks as needed.
