Job Overview

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the frontline ambassador of our agency, interacting with clients, resolving inquiries, and ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and care. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining client satisfaction and fostering lasting relationships.

Salary Range: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software (experience with APEX is a plus).
  • A proactive and customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Insurance licensure or willingness to obtain licensure within 90 days.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate responses to client questions regarding insurance policies, coverage, claims, and billing.
  • Process policy changes, updates, and renewals efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist clients with claims processing, guiding them through the necessary steps and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products to meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with our sales and underwriting teams to address client concerns and optimize service delivery.
  • Maintain thorough and organized client records using our CRM system.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
