Additional Requirements:

To comply with industry regulations, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • No bankruptcies within the last 12 months
  • If applicable, no more than $1,000 in outstanding collections
  • Willingness to work toward obtaining Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licenses

Job Types: Full-time / 1099

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $120,000 per year

Requirements

  • Property & Casulaty and a Life & Health License is required.

Responsibilities

1. Staff Management:


  • Hire, train, and supervise agency staff members.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth operation of the agency.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and coaching to staff for professional development.


2. Sales and Marketing:


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet agency revenue goals.
  • Create marketing campaigns to generate leads and attract new clients.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to staff for improvement.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients to encourage retention and referrals.


3. Customer Service:


  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Implement procedures for handling policy changes, claims, and billing inquiries.


4. Compliance and Regulations:


  • Stay updated on insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure agency operations adhere to all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Implement procedures to maintain client confidentiality and data security.


5. Financial Management:


  • Manage agency finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue forecasting.
  • Monitor agency profitability and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and collections.


6. Business Development:


  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the agency's market.
  • Explore partnerships or collaborations with other businesses to enhance services.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to build relationships and promote the agency.


7. Insurance Product Knowledge:


  • Stay informed about the full range of insurance products offered by Farmers Insurance.
  • Ensure staff members are knowledgeable about insurance policies, coverage options, and discounts.
  • Provide ongoing training and education to keep abreast of industry trends and updates.


8. Agency Operations:


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the agency, including office management and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to policies, clients, and transactions.
