Insurance Sales Assistant or Seasoned Producer

The candidate will be an integral part of our successful team supporting the owner and agency with daily customer quote requests, learning the products and learning or being able to explain coverages. Making sure our new and existing clients' everyday needs and concerns are being taken care of in a professional manner. You must be comfortable on the phone with a friendly I can do attitude. Exceptional customer service is our key to our success.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements

Looking for an extremely detail-oriented person, has multi-task ability, self starter and eager to learn. Able to work under fast paced environment for very busy office. 

Mature, self-confident demeanor, front office appearance.

Not afraid to handle issues as they come at you, able to ask questions, think outside the box to help resolve and find answers.

Enjoys to pay attention to details and great at figuring things out. 

Has good intuition and common sense.

Good customer service skills, pleasant demeanor, making clients feel comfortable is imperative. 

Great communication skills; written & oral. 

Able to recall details of day-to-day tasks to relay information to owner or staff members.

Strong organizational skills, ability to remain focused with excellent follow through.

Computer literate *MS Word/Excel/Outlook) and ability to learn difference SRM systems.

This is a position that requires long term commitment.  P&C license a plus, if not license must obtain by 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

-Preparing insurance quotes & cross selling, as well as prospecting new business..

  • Handle all incoming quote requests from customers.
  • Discuss coverages, ask all pertinent details with prospects
  • Assist owner with various duties.
  • Maintain & learn knowledge of new products & share with clients & prospects.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter in system to obtain quotes.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services
  • Responds to customers that need extra attention during these tough markets
