As an In-House Customer Sales & Service Representative, you will be a key point of contact for both new and existing clients. This role blends customer service, sales support, follow-up, and administrative coordination. You’ll work closely with the agency owner and internal team to handle inbound requests, policy changes, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.
This is not a call-center role. We value quality conversations, professionalism, accuracy, and follow-through. The right candidate is calm, organized, and confident guiding client conversations while delivering a consistently high level of service.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License – REQUIRED
Life & Health Insurance License – Preferred (strongly desired but not required)
Must remain license-compliant and in good standing

Prior insurance agency experience preferred
Familiarity with personal lines (auto, home, umbrella) strongly preferred
CRM and agency management system experience a plus
Comfortable working in an in-office, team-based environment
Handle inbound calls, emails, and text messages from clients
Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and coverage explanations
Support new business quotes for auto, home, and related personal lines
Follow up on leads, renewals, and outstanding client requests
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or bundle coverage when appropriate
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM/agency management system
Coordinate internally with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Deliver a calm, professional, and helpful experience on every client interactionv
