Jennifer Hickman Agency is an award-winning insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service and insurance solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and committed Insurance Agent to join our Fast-Paced team. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Agent with a proven track record in the industry. Candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, assessing their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate policies. You will be working the front line of our customer service department while recognizing and creating new client opportunities. Candidate should have a deep understanding of insurance products, excellent communication skills, sales skills and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

*Must be comfortable making outbound service and sales calls

hourly + commission + bonus

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Hold an Active Property and Casualty license
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up..
  • Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills..
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities..
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Review current client renewals.
  • Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and other lead databases provided.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Take premium payments from customers..
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Responds to all inquiries, alerts cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
