Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter & Administrative Assistant to support our Farmers Insurance District Office. This role combines talent acquisition with administrative responsibilities to help drive agency growth and maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, or administrative support (insurance or financial services industry preferred).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Sheets, Gmail) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Licensing: Ability and willingness to obtain state insurance licenses (preferred but not required at hire).


Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and schedule interviews for prospective agency owners and team members.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruiting records.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring all paperwork and licensing requirements are completed.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, and handling correspondence.
  • Track recruiting metrics and report results to the District Manager.
  • Support district marketing initiatives, training events, and community outreach
