As a trusted name in the insurance industry, we are looking to expand our team with a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Representative to join our locally-owned agency. This position is W2 with base and commission.

The Jacob Morgan-Farmers Insurance Agency is a dynamic and professional team dedicated to protecting what matters most. We empower clients with comprehensive Farmers Insurance solutions, fostering a vibrant, supportive environment where growth and client success are paramount.

The Farmers Insurance Protege Program is a mentorship-based training initiative, from the top agency in the country, designed to help aspiring individuals become Farmers Insurance agency owners by providing hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship. Participants learn sales, marketing, and customer service skills, while gaining real-world experience. The ultimate goal is a transition to agency ownership after successful completion of the 9-12 month program.

The pay range includes base salary + commission.

Salary Range: $5,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month

Requirements

o Prior insurance sales experience preferred (insurance sales experience is a plus, but not required).

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

o Self-driven with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.

o Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.

o Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

o Ability to learn new products and services quickly.

o High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

o Must be willing to obtain a state insurance license (if not already licensed).

Responsibilities

o Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to recommend appropriate insurance products.

o Provide clients with information on policies, premiums, and coverage options, ensuring they make informed decisions.

o Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.

o Follow up with leads and prospective clients to close sales and meet established goals.

o Manage customer service needs, answer questions, and resolve any issues or concerns.

o Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and market conditions to best serve clients.

o Maintain and update accurate client records in the system.
