High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus)
Ability to obtain or currently hold a Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Confidence in sales situations and a willingness to engage in cold calling or outbound prospecting
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly
Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems (CRM, quoting platforms, etc.)
Motivated, goal-oriented, and coachable with a strong work ethic
Professional demeanor and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Reliable transportation for attending networking events, client meetings, or community outreach (if required)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, digital outreach, referrals, and community involvement
Conduct policy reviews and assess client needs to recommend appropriate coverage options for auto, home, life, business, and other insurance products
Quote and bind policies accurately using agency and carrier systems
Follow up with leads and clients to ensure timely communication, close sales, and improve retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and promote cross-selling opportunities
Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics set by the agency
Stay up to date on product knowledge, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends
Maintain accurate client records and follow all compliance and documentation standards
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and marketing events to support agency growth
Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients, reinforcing trust and loyalty
