IdealTraits, headquartered in Lake Orion, Michigan, is seeking a Remote Automotive Account Executive to join our growing team. If you have 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, particularly in the automotive sector, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, this is the opportunity for you.
This role offers a $60,000 base salary with an On-Track Earnings (OTE) potential of $110,000+ through commission. As our team rapidly expands, we provide a clear career path for advancement, from Automotive Account Executive to Account Director, Team Lead, and Management.
You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and engaging dealership decision-makers to consultative selling and closing multi-location accounts. Using CRM tools you’ll track your pipeline, forecast sales, and drive deal progression. Strong communication skills, relationship-building, and the ability to position ROI-driven solutions will be key to success.

3-5 years selling to franchise car dealerships, ideally in automotive retail, SaaS, or recruitment solutions.
Expertise in prospecting, consultative selling, and closing multi-location dealership accounts.
Strong forecasting, territory management, and deal progression skills using CRM tools.
Proven ability to engage dealership decision-makers via cold calling, LinkedIn, and referrals.
Skilled in addressing pricing, contracts, and implementation concerns with ROI-focused solutions.
Strong rapport-building, product demo leadership, and ability to influence decision-makers.
Competitive, process-driven, and proficient in CRM tools, sales automation, and digital selling strategies.
Hunting for contacts and decision-makers for car dealerships and car dealership groups nationwide,
Cold call and book appointments with dealerships to explore their hiring process.
Maintain a pipeline of 40 active deals with sales cycles ranging from 4 weeks to 4 months closing 7-10 deals monthly.
Conducting virtual sales calls.
Preparing contracts and well-polished proposals.
Modifying the sales machine we build collaboratively that matches your selling style.
Working collaboratively with customer teams for seamless handoff for new dealership customers.
