Insurance Customer Service Representative


Job Overview

Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are passively seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our ideal candidate would be someone who already possess a current Property & Casualty insurance license, enjoys being part of a fast-paced, team environment, and is looking for the opportunity to grow. You would be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients, processing policy change requests, assist with billing inquires, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Must possess a current Property & Casualty Insurance license
  • Have a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Handle incoming claim calls from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Document each customer contact in our agency management system.
  • Greet clients coming into the office.
  • Take premium payments from customers. and educate them on payment options.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Be willing to use multiple technology platforms including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, agency management systems, etc.
