Requirements


  • Two years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance customer service.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance. Must also be current on all Continuing Education (CE) credits needed to renew license.



Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate day to day service needs for clients

·        Collaborate with Production team on strategy and marketing for new and renewal coverages

Detailed duties:

·        Provide policy service including changes, payments, claims, 3rd party communications

·        Research coverage issues, policy problems, cancellation issues, reinstatements, billing problem

·        Maintain client files and ensure accurate account information

·        Confer with client and agency personnel to resolve client issues or complaints

·        Identify and request renewal exposures from client

·        Identify gaps in coverage to maximize client protection

·        Prepare final submission for new and renewal marketing

·        Review new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating and coverage

·        Overall responsibility of ensuring coverage is placed correctly

·        Correspond with carrier underwriters

·        Coordinate billing and premium financing

·        Follow up on outstanding claims

·        Coordinate Issuance and quoting of premium finance agreements

·        Complete final review of policy documents and coordinate delivery to client

·        Identify opportunities for expanded business through gaps in coverage

·        Keep informed on industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
