Job Overview

Huffines Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Plano Sales Consultants are product knowledge experts and responsible for assisting customers with purchasing a new or pre-owned car, truck, or SUV. They provide a world-class buying experience from welcome to delivery by connecting with customers to assess their needs, providing recommendations for vehicle selection, demonstrating vehicle's safety and features, assisting with financing options, and completing the essential documentation to transact the sale.

Salary Range: $74,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Must be able to work on-site in Plano, Texas.
  • One year of automotive sales experience (preferred)
  • Unrestricted driver license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability as a results-oriented self-starter that works well with others as a team player
  • Commitment to delivering world-class customer service 
  • Bilingual (preferred) English and Spanish

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist customers in-person, by phone, and online.

Needs Assessment: Identify customer preferences to recommend the best vehicle.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed on vehicle features, pricing, and options to educate customers.

Test Drives & Delivery: Arrange test drives and prepare sold vehicles for smooth delivery.

Sales & Documentation: Process sales orders and paperwork per dealership policies.

Financing: Guide customers through financing and leasing options.

Customer Relationships: Build long-term connections through follow-ups and referrals.

Sales Performance: Set and achieve personal sales goals while exceeding dealership targets.

Market Awareness: Track industry trends, competitors, and customer prospects.

Training: Participate in sales and product training to enhance expertise.

Other Duties: Support dealership operations as needed.
