No need for cold calling. The insurance team receives direct leads from qualified home buyers generated by the real estate side. 

Role Objective: 

Strategically expand the agency's client base and revenue through effective leadership of the sales team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Refine and execute the insurance sales process 
  • Engage in business development activities, including: 
  • Reconnecting with previous clients 
  • Nurturing unsold leads 
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities 

Maintain a strong community presence 

Foster relationships with key influencers 

Drive the agency's growth and reputation 

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management 

  • Ensure team logs in by 8:30 AM; manage performance. 
  • Conduct structured meetings for performance review, goal setting, training, and motivation. 
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes. 
  • Mentor team members in market placement and underwriting. 
  • Submit meeting updates to senior management. 


Sales and Business Development 

  • Achieve $40,000+ in monthly new business premiums. 
  • Maintain a 35%+ team closing ratio on new leads. 
  • Enforce processes on lost business, follow up on unsold quotes, cross-sell. 
  • Respond promptly to new inquiries, including off-hours. 
  • Maintain an 89%+ retention rate and 75% multi-line rate. 
  • Request referrals and round new business accounts. 


Client Relationship Management 

  • Complete Agency Zoom tasks 30 days after the sale to ensure satisfaction. 
  • Build client relationships through personalized service. 
  • Coach team members in resolving negative feedback. 


Operational Excellence 

  • Use Vertafore AMS360 to track prospects, sales, and interactions. 
  • Update records after each client interaction. 
  • Monitor reports to allocate leads and optimize productivity. 
  • Manage HIA reports for timely updates in Agency Zoom. 


Howard Hanna Engagement 

  • Build relationships with office managers, loan officers, and regional leaders for referrals. 


Reporting and Metrics 

  • Provide monthly goal updates before the new month. 
  • Deliver updates and performance highlights at monthly Sales Meetings. 
  • Track progress using metrics like market share, sales growth, and client satisfaction.

  • Surpass sales goals by re-engaging lost business, cross-selling, and nurturing community relationships. 
  • Elevate the sales team through training and market strategy guidance. 
  • Enhance customer loyalty through personalized service and active referrals.
