Requirements

-High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree a plus)

-1 - 2 years of experience in insurance or administrative support preferred, especially in a commercial lines setting

-Basic understanding of insurance documents and terminology (or willingness to learn)

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

-Comfortable navigating agency management systems

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

-Professional demeanor when communicating with clients and insurance carriers

-Willingness to take direction and support multiple Account Managers as needed

-Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred

-If not currently licensed, must be willing and able to obtain a P&C license within the first 90 days of employment

Responsibilities


-Assist Account Managers with daily policy processing

-Back up receptionist and direct phone calls as needed

-Email/Mail Policies, Endorsements and Auto- ID cards to clients

-Process Certificates of Insurance in a timely manner

-Request corrections from carriers as needed

-Maintain accurate and organized client files in agency management system

-Monitor and follow up on pending documents from carriers and clients

-Scan and upload incoming documents into client files
