The Farmers Insurance Mentorship Program is designed for ambitious, entrepreneurial sales professionals who want more than just another sales position. This opportunity allows licensed candidates to build a long-term career in insurance with a clear pathway toward leadership and eventually owning their own Farmers Insurance agency.

In simple terms: demonstrate your success in sales and earn the opportunity to launch your own Farmers Insurance Agency with District 20.

As a Protege, you’ll work directly with a successful Farmers Agent Mentor and learn the business from the inside out. Through hands-on experience, you’ll develop skills in sales, marketing, client relationship management, and agency operations while building the knowledge needed to eventually run your own agency.

This role is a great fit for competitive, coachable sales professionals who are motivated by personal and financial growth. If you’re looking for structured training, mentorship, and a proven roadmap to agency ownership, this program provides the support and experience to help you get there.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous sales or insurance industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset
• Coachable and eager to learn through training and mentorship

• Obtain required insurance licensing and complete onboarding training
• Participate in ongoing training and 1:1 coaching through District 20 and the University of Farmers
• Prospect and generate new business through leads, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Build and maintain strong client relationships using a consultative sales approach
• Present and recommend insurance solutions based on clients’ needs and risk profiles
• Meet or exceed new business and production goals while maintaining accurate client records in agency systems
