Harders & Bradford Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service our growing book of commercial business. In this role, you will be the day-to-day service contact for commercial clients, handling everything from certificates and endorsements to renewals and coverage consultations. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse commercial book and play a key role in the retention and growth of the agency's commercial lines revenue.
Base salary: $55,000–$65,000 based on experience ($26.50–$31.25/hr.), plus bonus opportunities for new policy sales.

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license prior to start date (required)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial lines account management experience in an agency or brokerage environment (preferred)
• Working knowledge of commercial coverages including BOP, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Property, and Umbrella/Excess (preferred)
• Experience preparing certificates of insurance and managing certificate holder requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex coverage concepts clearly to business owners
• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits; capable of managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with agency management systems (preferred)
• CIC, CISR, or other industry designations a plus
• Manage an assigned book of commercial lines accounts as the primary service contact for day-to-day client needs
• Process policy changes, certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and related service requests accurately and efficiently
• Assist clients with the claims reporting process and provide guidance on the coverage and claim implications
• Conduct pre-renewal account reviews to identify coverage gaps, new exposures, and cross-sell opportunities
• Prepare renewal submissions and work with carriers to secure competitive quotes and coverage terms
• Communicate proactively with clients about renewal activity, market conditions, and coverage recommendations
• Maintain complete and accurate client files within the agency management system in accordance with agency documentation standards
• Support producers with new business onboarding and account rounding efforts
• Stay current on commercial lines products across Maryland, Virginia, and DC
