Harders & Bradford Insurance Agency in Silver Spring, Maryland, is looking for a detailed and organized individual with excellent time management skills to join our team as a Full-Time Insurance Administrative Assistant. Our busy insurance office is looking for someone to support our team to ensure our office operations continue to run smoothly. You will be responsible for administrative tasks such as maintaining customer records, managing first notice of loss claims process, running critical agency reports, greeting office visitors, and other clerical duties as needed. If you are able to multitask and prioritize, you will be the perfect candidate for this essential role.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year

Requirements

Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.

Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.

No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn

Ability to adapt to change, learn new things quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Associates Degree Preferred or Relevant Work Experience.

Responsibilities

Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.

Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.

Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.

Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.

Work independently and as part of a team.
