Job Overview

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, youll manage a book of personal insurance clientsretaining, rounding, and building strong client relationships while ensuring top-tier service. Youll serve as a key resource for our clients, providing expert advice and support for all their personal insurance needs.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Customer-first mindset with outstanding service and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office tech
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and committed to continuous learning
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment


Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain an assigned personal lines book of business
  • Review and analyze insurance policies for accuracy in coverage, limits, and deductibles
  • Provide expert guidance on insurance products and recommend additional coverage when appropriate
  • Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, billing questions, and certificate requests
  • Proactively solicit referrals and client reviews to support agency growth
  • Stay up to date on carrier guidelines, underwriting changes, and new product offerings
  • Leverage agency management systems and digital tools to maintain accurate and efficient workflows
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and share best practices
