We are a locally owned American Family Insurance agency seeking a Sales Specialist to help grow our agency through consistent, ethical, and performance‑driven sales.
This is a goal‑oriented role for individuals who want to build a long‑term career, not just a short‑term sales job.
What You’ll Do
- Sell insurance products including Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, and Life
- Meet clearly defined monthly production goals
- Educate customers on coverage, not just price
- Build quality business that retains and renews
- Follow underwriting guidelines and compliance standards

Licensing: Must be willing to obtain and maintain insurance licensing

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Valid Iowa Insurance License (Life and Property and Auto preferred, or willingness to obtain - state of Iowa).
- If unlicensed, will offer a 30-day probation period to become licensed.
- Team player and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software.
- A genuine desire to help people and solve problems.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to our policyholders via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, and claims processing.
- Identify opportunities to present relevant insurance products and solutions to meet client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage and update client records accurately in our system.
- Collaborate with the agent to support sales efforts and achieve team goals.
- Stay informed about new products, services, and industry regulations.
