Responsibilities

What you would do in this role:

• Learn the basics of GEICO insurance and how to sell our benefits to potential customers.
• Work our real-time GEICO sales leads.
• Participate in community events, and visit points of interest to drive referrals.
• Make sales (licensed) of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service.
• Educate clients on auto, home, renters, cycle, boat and RV insurance.
• Service existing accounts and ensure clients make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

A successful candidate brings:

• Good vibes and a positive attitude!
• Network of referral partners (car dealership, realtors, mortgage brokers, friends, family, etc...) or ability to develop one!
• Ability or demonstrate ability to generate your own sales!
• Competitive spirit, a passion to excel and willingness to learn!
• A talent for dealing with a variety of customers.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and work with multiple quoting systems.
• Punctual and organized.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
• Ability to work Saturdays.
