1. Prior experience working for GEICO Corporate a major plus
2. Prior sales experience, collections, banking, retail or military veteran preferred.
3. Reliable work performance/attendance history
4. Pass a background/credit check
5. Personal lines insurance license or completion of Personal Lines Insurance Test within 45 days of hire
6. A knack for taking notes, with a talent for managing challenging client interactions.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and prospects.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Assist team members by handling inbound customer callers and completing questionnaires
2. Professionally and diligently, asking pre-determined questions with clarity and thoroughness.
3. Follow up prospects and clients when additional information is needed to complete an insurance quote or general service follow-up.
4. Meet or exceed monthly targets, contributing to the agency's team goals.

Experienced

We're looking for hardworking, dedicated and experienced property and casualty insurance salespeople to work our real time, internet generated in our GEICO Lees Summit office. We work year round to grow and retain clients who entrust their home, auto and other insurance to us. You will have the opportunity to work with a successful agent-mentor to increase your sales.

All sales are completed over the phone and applications are taken electronically. All leads are provided free and managed through our software that aids in lead management and connects our agents to them throughout the day.

We operate with a small competitive sales team and are driven to sell auto, home, boat  insurance and additional lines of business exclusively through GEICO.
