We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural-born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. As a licensed Insurance Sales Representative, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind. You will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance. You will also be trained to act as a consultant for businesses and families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs.
APPRENTICE Program - After one year of service or less under an agent and $100,000 in premium sales, you will then be eligible to open your own Farmers Insurance Agency. No capital requirement and start with policies for immediate residual income.
Responsibilities:
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, and Auto Dealers.
Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and marketing.
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Process customer policy change requests.
Handle incoming claims from customers.
Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
Stay up to date on new Farmers Insurance products.
Requirements:
Obtain CA Property & Casualty license (we pay for the training).
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Cultivate relationships with new clients and nurture those relationships with current clients.
Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up.
Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
Must be highly self-motivated and career-minded.
