Job Overview

Our office is growing and we are looking to bring on a new insurance sales intern to fit into our close-knit office! As an insurance sales intern you will have the chance to learn how to market and tailor our products to the individual customers we serve. To excel in this insurance sales role, you will need to be energetic, motivated, and ready to let us help you learn the industry and obtain the tools to succeed!

Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per year

Requirements
  • Property and casualty license or
  • Life & Health license
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
Responsibilities
  • Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products.
  • Establish client relationships and follow up with customers in a timely manner so as to provide exceptional and extraordinary service.
  • Ensure that all quotes, procedures, and practices are compliant with Farmers Department of Insurance.
  • Work independently and with mentoring/coaching.
  • Multi-task, organized and driven to meet deadlines.
