The Licensed Sales Agent is responsible for prospecting, quoting, and selling the agency’s new business policies. The Licensed Sales Agent is part of the agency’s sales team which is responsible for achieving the agency’s new business growth goals.
Our sales agents generate outgoing prospecting calls to the agency’s win back, requote, and cross-sell audits, while simultaneously working the agency-purchased sales leads. A successful sales agent will also utilize their spheres of influence to generate additional new business opportunities.
When necessary, the sales agents will provide excellent customer service to the agency’s existing clients. This position serves as a trusted advisor by uncovering the prospect’s needs, identifying gaps in coverage, recommending solutions and converting them into customers using a proven sales strategy.
Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

· Current VA Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License.
· At least 1 year of sales experience.
· Ability to work independently and hold oneself accountable for their performance.
· Possess high-stress tolerance and critical thinking skills.
· Receptive to coaching and feedback.
· Strong communication skills.
· Able to navigate multiple computer programs at one time.
Additional Benefits:
· $37,440 ($18 an hour) base pay + weekly commission + monthly performance-based bonus
· Average earning potential: $57,000 – $105,000+ per year

· Required to follow the agency’s prospects and follow-up guidelines to ensure they are making enough contacts and generating enough quotes to achieve their monthly sales goals.
· Must meet their daily and monthly activity expectations.
· Responsible for using strong sales and communication skills to deliver a proven sales method that uncovers customer needs, identifies gaps in coverage, and recommends solutions to fully protect customers; all while building a case to positively influence the decision to purchase from the Agency.
· Evaluated based on sales production, time management, quality of customer service provided, business produced, and strictly adhere to company and industry rules, regulations, and processes that protect the agency and its customers.
