Growing Independent Insurance Agency is seeking a qualified and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This dedicated individual will be responsible for the ongoing service needs for an assigned book of customers and assist the Agency Producers in building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication experience as well as fantastic interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Applied EPIC Agency Management System Experience.
  • Resident State Agents P&C License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Friendly and customer focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate risks.
  • Communicate with agency Producers and Carrier Representatives expertly and professionally.
  • Understand complex commercial exposures, including specialty product lines.
  • Prepare applications, proposals, and related items for existing and new business
  • Review newly issued policies and endorsements for accuracy before delivery to clients.
  • Process premium audits and assist clients in the event of a dispute.
  • Prepare certificates of insurance.
  • Keep all client policies, records, and communications accurate and current within the agency management system following agency protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market to provide informed advice to clients.
