Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Requirements

Experience:

  • Several years of experience in the insurance industry, often in sales or management roles is recommended. Experience owning or managing a business is a plus. If you have no insurance experience, it's ok, we can train you!

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing:

  • Required insurance licenses (state-specific) for the products sold (e.g., life, property, casualty). (District will help obtain if don't already have)


Skills:

  • Leadership and team management
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Financial management and budgeting expertise
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Analytical and strategic thinking

Responsibilities

Agency Management:

  • Oversee daily operations and manage staff.
  • Set performance goals, track progress, and motivate team members.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Build relationships with clients, identify their needs, and offer appropriate insurance products
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to stay competitive.
  • Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities for existing clients.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the agency's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Set revenue targets, ensure profitability and manage payroll.


Customer Service:

  • Handle client inquiries to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve disputes and negotiate solutions to maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients to maintain long-term relationships.
  • Networking and Business Development:
  • Build partnerships with other businesses and community organizations to increase brand visibility.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify new opportunities.


Reporting and Analytics:

  • Track sales performance
  • Use data analytics to refine marketing and sales strategies.
