Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Previous Farmers, Allstate, or State Farm Insurance sales experience is a plus
  • Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and to demonstrate empathy and responsiveness to client needs
  • Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and client relationship management
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for effective sales administration. Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, Microsoft Teams)
  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License required
  • HYBRID REMOTE - Must be able to work in the local Austin office 2-3 times/week
Responsibilities
  • Sell various types of commercial insurance policies to businesses and cross-sell personal insurance
  • Prospect through various sales channels (networking, referrals, visiting businesses, cold calling, other sources) to generate leads and opportunities
  • Answer Inbound and make outbound calls on leads to develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Follow a proven sales process to build value and customize an insurance portfolio to suit individual clients' needs
  • Deliver a high level of personal attention to prospective and existing customers, personally visiting them to follow up as needed
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product updates to effectively advise clients and stay ahead of the competition
  • Complete Advance Sales Training and ongoing development
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics set by the agency management
