Education: High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Experience in sales, preferably insurance with a proven track record or meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Licensing: Must be licensed in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Missouri (or a willingness to obtain one/both).
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
Training: Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations.
Client Interaction: Assist agents in managing client relationships, responding to inquiries, and addressing basic service requests.
Sales Support: Support the sales team by preparing proposals, gathering necessary documentation, and following up with prospects.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential client needs to assist agents in their sales efforts.
Shadowing: Observe experienced agents during client meetings and calls to learn best practices in sales and client management.
Networking: Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build connections and gain insights into the insurance market.
